Three Harvest Partners Named 2024 CRE Visionaries by L.A. Times B2B Publishing

Harvest LLP partners Eoin Gubbins, David Levine, and Chris Rizza were honored among the "Commercial Real Estate Visionaries: Professional Service Providers" for 2023 by L.A. Times B2B Publishing.

Now in its fourth edition, the annual award features noteworthy senior-level executives in the commercial real estate sector. Nominees are evaluated based on their successes and accomplishments over the last 24 months – specifically their involvement in major projects and deals – as well as exemplary leadership within their organizations and communities.

One of Harvest's founding partners, Eoin has experience representing publicly traded REITs, large developers, and smaller property owners for over 15 years in a wide array of real estate transactions. His leasing experience in particular is extensive, having acted as lead leasing counsel for several high-profile institutional landlord clients in the western U.S., and has represented retail and office tenants, purchasers, and sellers of commercial property in California and beyond.  In addition to his transactional experience, Eoin has considerable land use expertise, having appeared before various public bodies and agencies on a range of issues, including advocating for legislative changes, processing of permits, and successfully resolving housing/rent control issues.

David has significant experience with all asset classes, including multifamily, single-family rental pools, hotels and resorts, industrial, and office properties. His clients include national and regional developers, REITs, institutional investors, public and private companies, and high-net-worth individuals.  Known as a pragmatic, business-minded lawyer and savvy dealmaker, he has specialized experience representing companies in the acquisition, management, financing, and leasing of hotels and other hospitality products.  With the hospitality industry's particular nuances – employees, insurance, food and liquor licensing, and more – David works closely with his clients to negotiate franchise and management agreements with all the major hotel brands and operators.

Chris focuses his practice on commercial leasing and related real estate transactions spanning all major asset classes, from retail and industrial to office and mixed-use.  He represents landlords and developers, including REITs, institutional investors, pension funds, and development companies.  As former in-house counsel to a private real estate development company and with over a decade of Big Law experience, Chris combines business acumen with a comprehensive legal skill set that makes him exceptional at balancing business and legal considerations. He also is well-versed in the tenant perspective, representing both national and regional tenants and individual, closely held businesses.
