Alvarado, Landa Recognized in Super Lawyers 2026

Harvest LLP partners David Alvarado and Fernando Landa were recognized in the 2026 edition of Super Lawyers. David was named in Southern California Super Lawyers for Real Estate while Fernando was named in San Diego Super Lawyers for Real Estate. This is David's fourth year of recognition by Super Lawyers and Fernando's 11th year, including three years that each were named as "Rising Stars" in their respective regions.

Since 1991, Super Lawyers has recognized the top attorneys across the country from a variety of practice areas and firm sizes using a patented multiphase selection process that includes nominations, independent research and peer input. The lawyers selected include those with many years of experience as well as the Rising Stars of the profession who are 40 years old or younger, or who have been in practice for 10 years or less. Only 5% of attorneys in each state are selected to Super Lawyers, and the Rising Stars list includes no more than 2.5% of attorneys in each state.

David is an adept and versatile advocate for his clients and has become the go-to lawyer for several of Southern California's leading real estate companies due to his brilliance and excellence in both law and business. With experience spanning all asset classes and property types, he has successfully shepherded numerous major projects to completion with a total aggregate consideration of over $1 billion in development projects and over $5 billion in real property acquisition and disposition work. As one of Harvest’s founding partners, David has been instrumental in establishing the firm's vision, values, goals, and culture, sharing his passion for helping people maximize their opportunities with both his team and his clients.

A founding partner of Harvest, Fernando represents public real estate investment trusts, private equity funds, institutional investors and entrepreneurial developers in a variety of commercial real estate transactions. He has broad expertise working on large deals across the country and spanning the asset spectrum, including office, industrial, life science, hospitality, retail and mixed-use assets. In addition, he possesses unique expertise in distressed real estate workouts and the sale of commercial real estate assets through the judicial process. He has served the community for years, including on the boards of the San Diego chapter of CREDA (formerly NAIOP), the California Receivers Forum, the Building Industry Association of San Diego Political Action Committee, and the BuildSD Political Action Committee.
