William Ratner

William is a skilled attorney with a broad real estate practice encompassing acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, financings, and joint ventures. He represents a range of clients – including investors, developers, construction companies, and institutional lenders – through all phases of a transaction, from diligence and deal structuring to closing coordination and post-closing matters. Additionally, William has experience in the real estate components of complex corporate and M&A transactions.

Before joining Harvest, William practiced at an Am Law 25 firm in Santa Monica, where he advised on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions and financing matters involving hotels, multifamily residential projects, and industrial properties. During his tenure, he was selected for a secondment with Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, supporting the legal team on significant retail asset dispositions, leasing, and corporate governance matters.

William earned his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, where he served as Senior Editor for the Michigan Business & Entrepreneurial Law Review and as a senior clinician in the Zell Entrepreneurship clinic. William holds a B.A. in International Relations with a focus in Global Business, cum laude, from the University of Southern California, where he also minored in Spanish.
